Lock design features a free-spinning collar that will turn if attacked by gripping tools without loosening the lock. Through-hardened stainless steel construction. To install, simply replace one of the nuts holding the outboard motor on the transom of the boat with a McGard lock. Then tighten the lock with the special key tool. 1/2" x 13 threads, for Johnson/Evinrude 40 HP and up.
